Ahem. If you believe Disney, "twitterpated" contextually refers to puppy love/crush (cf. Bambi).
I'm guessing one could break it down into "twitter" and "pate" as the constituent parts, "twitter" alluding to being sort of flighty and silly, and "pate" being "head". So I suppose one could extrapolate a broader meaning. But since the only context in which I've ever heard it was Bambi, I would guess that definition is the most strictly reliable one...
You are correct. :)
Can you guess what we watched this morning while Mama took it easy?
Shocked, shocked I am to discover Bambi in your house.
Especially given Dale's plans around the 15th of November each year ...
:)
(Unless the kids don't know where venison comes from?)
peace,
They do, but given Dale has gotten ONE deer in his entire life, it's still a vague concept. They know about beef, sausage, pork, and chicken, too. We've seen Charlotte's Web, too.
"What animal does this come from, Mom?"
We just don't discuss exactly how it goes from being "cow" to "steak."
They know that milk doesn't hurt the cow. Just annoy her sometimes. :)
Why, it meand discombobulated and flustered, of course.
Glad I could clear that one up for you.
