Yeah, I'm thinking I see a family resemblance there.
I'm guessing grandfather...I'm no Army uniform expert, but that one looks to be of an older vintage than your dad would have been likely to wear.
PBK and Zach are correct--it's my dad.
The uniform is from his first hitch in the mid-50's ('54?-/57?).
So you have a point, Kasia, that the uniform seems old for the parent of one born in '71. My ancestry skips the Baby Boomer generation.
