I think that was great. Too bad there's not a way to pump and store milk for that mother...
Very impressive. I wonder if the blood bank idea could be converted. Just a thought . . .

Don't they have networks in the U.S. that accept donated breast milk? That suggests to me that it can be frozen and stored, a la HISchild's idea.
I guess the more material question is whether there is enough need in that particular region to call for an actual, dedicated milk bank, or whether it would be needed simply on a case-by-case basis.
