Motherhood is hard work. If we don't stick together, we'll all fall apart.

Jen F. had her baby!

Patrick Alan was born around 6:30 this morning. I don't have more details on him; everyone is doing fine. This does mean, though, that the worst-case scenario has come to pass.
She'll need prayers of support and microwavable dinners when she gets home on Wednesday.

That is all. :)

Heather,

My family lives in Center Line and we'd be willing to prepare and deliver a couple of meals to Jen F and her family. Drop me an email and we'll figure out how to coordinate it.

I've been told that her church group is visiting every other day to bring a meal for the first two weeks, so for a bit, they are probably covered.
I'm told she lives in Center Line too though my contact couldn't remember her exact address.
I'll keep you posted. :) And thanks!

I'm in St. Clair Shores...when she gets past the 2 weeks of church support, let me know and I can manage something too. clamrampant at yahoo dot com.

I'll have my Heather pass on the offers to Jen and her family.

Word of warning to you generous souls: There's a mob at that house. James, Paul, Steven, Simon, Liza, and now Patrick (although I'm willing to bet that Patrick won't be directly partaking of any sustenance you may provide.) And that's just the kids.

And yes, they're in Center Line...I could probably walk to her house from work (in Warren, not my Tuesdays in Saginaw) during my lunch break. It'd be a brisk walk, but I'm pretty sure I could make it. ;)

Matt, I'm glad you've seen this. Your Heather has more direct contact with Jen--thanks for taking it to her!
